Thinking Routines
Eighteen short, flexible, easy and engaging strategies designed to deepen students’ thinking about the topic at hand, whether it is a painting, an historical event, or a mathematical operation. These routines are meant to be used over and over again in the classroom so that they become part of the fabric of a classroom’s culture; they become the ways in which students go about the process of learning.
